Reader recommendation: Chai tea at Mocha Island
A reader named Sara called last week to tell me that she’s a big fan of chai tea and has tried several around town. She says the best she’s found is at Mocha Island, which is on Main Street/Illinois Route 102 in Bourbonnais. That’s the place with the palm tree on top.
According to the most recent information I have, Mocha Island is open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. They’re closed on Sunday. Their phone is (815) 932-8700.
