Jim Johanek, owner of the new Jimmy Jo’s BBQ in Bourbonnais, sent me this update on Friday:
“We are getting our inspections on Monday-Tuesday and if all goes well we hope to get open by Monday, March 9th.”

A reader named Wade submitted a comment today on another post saying that the inspection has pushed pack the opening a few days and they now hope to open on the 11th.

We have passed all inspections and are in the final days of training with our staff. We will open to the public on Wednesday March 11th, just like great bbq, it will be worth the wait.
