Mother McGee's was an awesome restaurant! Not only was the food fabulous and filling, but the prices were average-family oriented, unlike a lot of the restaurants in this area now. The inside reminded you of landing somewhere between Casablanca and a speakeasy with bamboo peacock dining chairs. Wish it were still here.

Another really great restaurant was Kaufman's on Dearborn Square. What ever happened to them?
