A pizza parlor is slated to open soon in Momence.
Marcotte’s will be at 118 E. River St., and it will feature Helen’s original pizza recipe. I’m told that Helen’s once was a popular restaurant in Momence, but closed about 10 years ago.
I’ll share an opening date as soon as I hear of one. So far I’ve been told they hope to open sometime in September.

Ahhh, Helen’s Pizza. Brings back memories from my high school years going there with a big group of friends and sharing pizzas and laughter and good friendship. Yes, it was ages ago, but having another chance to try that recipe is something to look forward to.

My wife & I made it a date night at least once a month to go to Momence to eat Helen’s pizza. My mouth is beginning to water as it was SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Chrildren were raise on Helen’s pizza and the garlic bread. Helen started her pizza place in Bradley in the 50’s
moved to Momence in the 60’s. Pizza from Helen’s was the first food I have delivered to my home. It was great.
