Chery Sackett, of Sackett’s Home Bakery, bakes year-round. She’ll make anything she sells at the market, including pies, yeast and sweet breads, cookies, bars and granola, plus other items like holiday treats. To order, call (815) 592-1425. Delivery options are available.
Chery also told me that she’s now teaching cooking classes through the Kankakee Valley Park District.
