Savannah’s to open this week
Savannah’s is expected to open this week at 2005 W. Court St. in Kankakee, in the space formerly occupied by Devon’s Bakery and Cafe.
Owners Mark Ray and Frank Hayden hope to get the heat turned on tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, get a final OK from the health department in the afternoon, and then open for business on Thursday or Friday.
Savannah’s is billed as a Southern bistro/coffee house, serving lunch and dinner.
Hours will be 10 a.m to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They will be closed Sunday.
