Reader report: Magic Pizza now open in Kankakee

A reader named Christopher emailed me today to tell me about a new restaurant that appears to have opened in Kankakee:
“Hi Denise.
I was coming home Sunday from church, and stopped at a light and got a menu that was being handed out.
Magic Pizza … is now open at 1004 Station Street (Old Dandy’s Pizza, amongst others).  The phone is 815-935-2061 and delivery is available for $2.00
It’s open Sunday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
They offer pizza, pastas, dinners, salads, sandwiches and appetizers.
It would be nice to see something make on the west side.  Too bad this location doesn’t offer indoor seating.  I think that’s why there’s such a turn around.  I can’t imagine standing outside in snow and cold to order.  But they’re trying and good luck to them.
I simply love your food articles.  I can’t seem to wait for it to appear.  I wish it was everyday!!!”
