Vito’s Pizzeria and Italian Kitchen (1887 Armour Road in Bourbonnais) reopened on Monday. The restaurant, formerly known as Vito’s Pizzeria & Pub, was closed for nearly three weeks for remodeling. In addition to the new name, it also has an expanded kitchen, new tables and booths, an updated interior, and it will soon have an arcade area for kids. The decor no longer includes any beer signs, which is part of the transition from being a bar to a family-friendly restaurant. The menu has been expanded to include nine varieties of one-pound burgers and several dinners. There are also new appetizers, pizzas, sandwiches and pastas. A $4.99 lunch buffet features a salad bar, bread sticks and pizza. On Wednesdays, kids eat free from 4 to 8 p.m. Vito’s opens at 11 a.m. daily. It closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and at midnight Thursday through Saturday. Free delivery is available within Bradley and Bourbonnais. Call (815) 932-3511.
