I spoke with the owner of Soul da Soul this morning. He said he is trying to get everything ready at 559 E. Court St. in Kankakee and hopes to open in another week or two.
Soul da Soul operated at that address for eight years before relocating in 2008. Since then the restaurant has operated out of other locations in Kankakee and Momence.
I’ll post more details when he has a firm opening date.
