Reader recommendation: Vito’s Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen
A reader named Valerie left me this voicemail message on Tuesday regarding Vito’s Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen:
“We went in there Sunday night for dinner. Amazing! I think Aurelio’s got some stiff competition come to the neighborhood. So, in case you haven’t eaten there, oh my God. And they said their steak pizza is to die for. The pizza we had was very, very good. If you haven’t been, you should go.”
Vito’s (1887 Armour Rd., Bourbonnais) opens at 11 a.m. daily. It closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and at midnight Thursday through Saturday. The phone number is (815) 932-3511.

They serve tator tots there and they are great! Brought my boyfriend and I back to grade school. LOL
