Reader recommendation: The Country Mansion in Dwight

“I thought I’d just let you know that The Country Mansion in Dwight is offering 2 dinners for $22. A couple can have an appetizer, 2 sides each and an entree each for $22! (Beverage is extra.) I’m hooked on the Chicken Carbonara and my husband is hooked on the Seafood Carbonara. Anyway, you get a lot of delicious food with this special, plus The Country Mansion has so much charm.”
The special 2 for $22 menu is available for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday, after 4 p.m. on Saturday, and after 1 p.m. on Sunday. It features a choice of 9 entrees, which may change periodically. Currently there’s also a 2 for $22 Lenten menu with 5 entree selections, including frog legs and seafood lasagna.
The Country Mansion is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Friday, and for dinner on Saturdays.
On Sundays, they open at 8:30 a.m. and serve a brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $15.50 for adults, $8.50 for children ages 5 to 9, and $6 for children ages 3 and 4. Lunch and dinner are served until 7 p.m.
They’re closed Mondays.
The Country Mansion will have a special Easter breakfast and brunch. For breakfast, seatings are offered at 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. A brunch buffet will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will include both breakfast and lunch items, including leg of lamb, and a salad bar and dessert bar. The cost is $18.50 for adults, less for seniors and children.
The Country Mansion is at 101 W. South St. in Dwight.
