Best Buffet (1248 N. Kennedy Dr.) in Kankakee has closed. After remodeling, it will reopen Mother’s Day (May 9) as Gold Bowl Buffet under partially new ownership.
Gold Bowl Buffet will have a similar menu, but will add Japanese cuisine, such as made-to-order sushi and sashimi, to the offerings.
Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including holidays. The phone is (815) 939-2811.
