Former Old Country Buffet location to be a bank
A reader named Bob asked me about activity at the former Old Country Buffet near the intersection of Illinois Route 50 and Larry Power Road in Bradley.
While there have long been rumors (or at least wishful thinking) that an Olive Garden or other national chain might move in there, it’s not happening, at least not yet.
First National Bank of Grant Park has purchased the building and eventually plans to open a branch there. However, there will still be space available in the large building for lease, so it’s possible a restaurant could move in.
