A reader named Kathy called me to recommend the lunch specials at Tuscany Steak & Pasta House (315 N. Locust) in Manteno. She said that there are more than seven options for $4.99, including soup and garlic bread, and that they were all very good and the portions were generous.
Tuscany is open Tuesday through Sunday, and the specials are offered daily except Sunday. The phone is (815) 468-9810.
