Is anyone else miffed that “Vicky Christina Barcelona”, the steamy new romantic comedy directed by Woody Allen, has yet to get to Kankakee area theaters? It was released Aug. 15, so I’ve now been waiting exactly a month, which seems like three weeks too long if you ask me. Classic Cinemas, if you’re listening, I don’t want to wait for DVD!!
On the bright side, I see that Burn After Reading is showing at Movies 10.

Good morning,
We’re hearing you at Classic Cinemas!!! For the past few weeks, we’ve been trying to secure a print of Vicky Christina Barcelona for the Paramount, to no avail. The movie is a limited release, with not enough prints to go around. In the last two weeks, we’ve gotten a few prints with the distributor specifying which theatre they can go. But, keep the faith, we’re continuing to try and get the movie soon at your nearest Classic Cinemas location.

Your prayers have been answered …. Vicky Cristina Barcelona is coming to the Paramount! Based on the way this film has opened in theatres, we urge you to see this film during the week beginning September 26th. Enjoy!!
